Welcome

Welcome to my study guide on the bubonic plague in medieval England. This study guide was done as a project for ENG 381 at Marywood University.

The bubonic plague, also known as the Black Death, raged throughout Europe and Asia numerous times between the 14th and 17th centuries, but its impact was especially devastating during the 14th century. Estimates claim that anywhere from 30% to 60% of the population died, leaving behind fearful survivors and countries on the brink of economic change.
